Staffmark is hiring an Administrative Specialist for a family-owned and operated company specializing in metal spinning services in Dayton, OH. Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

1st Shift Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing timely, accurate support to office processes. This role will work across departments, with a strong focus on sales documentation and accounting functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales orders and related customer documents
  • Perform accounting functions including general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Maintain organized business records and files
  • Create and update financial spreadsheets and accounting reports
  • Support special projects and cross-functional administrative needs
  • Deliver consistent results and contribute to a collaborative team environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years of administrative experience (non-entry level)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and time management
  • Familiarity with ERP software is a plus
