Job Description:
Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Associate (Hybrid)
Department: Finance Operations
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid: Tue & Fri in-person)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with potential for shift work, including weekends and holidays)
Job Summary: As a Customer Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to customers with the credit card benefits. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, respond to emails, and resolve customer issues related to credit card benefits (such as road assistance services, insurance claim processing upon accidents etc.). Your bilingual skills in English and Japanese will be essential in effectively communicating with a diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns. • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with their needs. • Respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner. • Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience. • Identify and troubleshoot customer problems, escalating complex issues to relevant teams as needed. • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions. • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements. • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Strong proficiency in English and Japanese, both verbal and written. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). • Able to manage a high volume of customer emails and calls, and actively listen to their concerns. • Previous customer service experience is a plus.

Pay range minimum: $ 21.50
Pay range maximum: $ 25.50
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
