Starting Pay: $16 per hour (With upcoming wage increases offered by our client. After 60 days of good performance and attendance, will receive $1 increase). 
Schedule: 9:30pm – 7:30am. Will train on 1st shift from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with government, Timken, and customer specifications.
• Use various gauging equipment and masters to check for surface defects and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform off-line inspections using specialized measurement tools such as the Computerized Profile Gauge and Rib Optical Gauge.
• Measure parts according to blueprints and work instructions, determining pass or hold status.
• Notify setter operators or supervisors of any variations from tolerance specifications.
• Operate polishing and grinding equipment to remove stains and check for grinding injuries.
• Follow quality procedures, complete documentation, and rotate through different workstations as needed.

Qualifications: 

• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a machine operator or machine setter experience 
• Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
• High School Diploma/GED
