Summary

As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee the HR needs of the agency, ensuring that the right personnel are in place to meet organizational goals. This includes working with department managers to assess staffing needs, recruiting qualified staff, managing payroll and benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. You will also provide guidance to administrators and managers on personnel matters and help develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate staffing needs and recruit qualified personnel
• Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations, including DOL, OSHA, IRS, COBRA, and more
• Administer payroll, employee benefits, and deductions accurately and on time
• Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Oversee employee relations, retention efforts, and training programs
• Handle disciplinary actions and promotions in compliance with agency policy and legal standards
• Maintain confidential personnel records and ensure they are up-to-date
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and other leadership to address HR trends and issues
