Pay: $24.00/hr

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Computer Numerical Control machine setup  
• Familiarity with insert styles and wear characteristics, including Wedge-shaped Non-Metallic Ground, V-shaped Non-Metallic Ground, and Cubic Cornered Multi-Tool  
• High School Diploma or equivalent  
• Minimum of one year of experience in a position such as Conventional Machinist I or an equivalent role  
• Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, and bore gauges.

Job Duties: As a CNC Machinist, your day will include reading and editing programs in G-Code and various Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing software while identifying opportunities to enhance program efficiency. You’ll load parts and bar stock into and out of CNC machines, verify revision levels on routers and method sheets, and change tooling such as inserts, drills, and boring bars when necessary, ensuring all usable tooling is returned to the tool crib and recycling all carbide tooling. Troubleshooting any production issues, adding hydraulic oil, and cutting fluids as needed will be essential.
