Staffmark is hiring a full-time Mechanical Engineer for our client in Monroe, LA. In this role, you’ll work alongside other professionals in a well-established manufacturing company. Secure this direct-hire position today.

What We’re Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 8+ years of experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• The ability to travel for various projects.
• Familiar with fabrication and the machining process.
• Proficient in taking precise physical measurements to determine design parameters for industrial projects.
• Knowledgeable in industrial equipment design, including conveyor screws, vacuum equipment, bearings, and drives/gears, with familiarity in fabrication, machining processes, and manufacturing tolerances.
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary: $80,000 | Schedule: Will vary based on needs (some travel is involved)

Mechanical Engineer Essential Functions:

• Design mechanical equipment according to customer specifications.
• Perform mechanical and process calculations to determine design parameters.
• Draft mechanical designs (2D and 3D) for welding, fabrication, machining, and installation.
• Perform all duties safely.
• Willing to learn and perform other tasks and duties as needed.
