Shift Details:
1st Shift | 5 AM – 1:30 PM | Monday-Friday + Overtime | $18/hr
2nd Shift | 2 PM – 10:30 PM | Monday-Friday + Overtime | $18.25/hr
Material Handler Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments, stack efficiently, and store products in designated locations.
- Quality Control: Inspect shipments for accuracy and damage, reporting any issues immediately.
- Order Picking: Accurately pull and prepare products for outbound shipments, meeting customer service standards.
- Loading and Transportation: Safely move materials from storage areas to trailers or other transport methods.
- Equipment Operation: Use forklifts, clamp trucks, or other material handling equipment while following safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records, assist with physical inventories, and ensure proper stack rotation.
- Safety and Compliance: Keep the work area clean and organized while adhering to OSHA, EPA, and MSDS standards.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED, 2+ years of related experience (forklift certification), basic math skills, a safety mindset, a valid driver’s license, and ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift 50 pounds.
