Assembly Technician – Building Solutions for Cleaner Water!
Are you mechanically inclined and seeking a new employment opportunity on 1st shift? Staffmark is hiring an experienced Assembly Technician in Riverside, CA. Our manufacturing client is seeking new talent to assist with assembling large water filtration systems. This includes mounting tanks, valves, and manifolds onto a skid, as well as installing wiring and pneumatic lines.
Pay: $19.88 per hour
1st Shift Hours: 6 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday
Essential Functions:
- Apply a solid understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Operate sit-down LPG or Electric forklifts with a capacity ranging from 3,000 to 15,000 lbs.
- Read and interpret drawings and/or prints of moderate complexity to ensure the proper fabrication of products and assembly of products.
- Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, hammers, plate rolls, punch presses, wrenches, etc.
- Independently layout work, listen carefully and follow instructions.
- Operate RF scanners to assist with inventory tracking and production management.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of related mechanical assembly, manufacturing, power/hand tools, and forklift (sit-down and cherry pickers) experience.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
