Job Description:
Staffmark is excited to partner with a leading manufacturer of premium powder-coated wood products to find a dedicated Production Plant Manager in Brainerd, MN. Pay Rate: $25 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and quality standards are consistently met.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team by hiring, training, and evaluating staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement and manage quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Drive safety initiatives and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor production costs and implement strategies for cost savings while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on production metrics, quality control, and safety to senior management.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience with CNC machinery is required.
- Physical capability to meet the demands of a fast-paced production environment.
