Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- 8 years of experience in supply chain improvement (specifically in raw materials, manufacturing, and quality inspection processes).
- Experience in root cause corrective action, problem-solving tools, and project management.
- The ability to use flight-critical components/systems, read blueprints, and GD&T.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Quality Management Systems/Specifications (AS9100, Nadcap, ISO 9001, etc.).
Supply Quality Engineer Job Description
Lead supplier improvement projects to establish problem/process root cause and implement corrective actions. Coordinate modifications to existing procedures and processes. Perform source inspections and manage non-conformance activities. Develop, monitor, and analyze product/process trend data to optimize manufacturing performance. Review and approve First Article Inspection (FAI) reports per AS9102. Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR). Support quality system audits. Oversee flow-down requirements to suppliers. Develop control plans, PFMEA, and process flow charts/diagrams.
