Job Description:
Staffmark is seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Warehouse PIT Operator to join our Simi Valley, CA team. In this role, you will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating a double-pallet jack. Opportunities exist for candidates with experience operating reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers.
We have multiple shifts available to provide you with the best work-life balance. Some examples include:
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Tuesday – Saturday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Saturday – Wednesday
- 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $23.25 – $24.25

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
- Utilize a double electric pallet jack to move materials efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers as needed.
- Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
- Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
- Perform inbound receiving processes1.
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- 1 year of warehouse experience
- Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
- Experience operating a double-pallet jack.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime and weekends when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
