Job Description:
Staffmark is seeking a skilled Fabrication Machine Operator for a prominent manufacturer of water filtration tanks in Riverside, CA. If you have experience with advanced production machinery and are ready to take on a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
Pay Rate: $19.61/hr.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
The Fabrication Machine Operator will operate and program advanced production machinery to fabricate carbon and stainless-steel products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program various machines, focusing on carbon and stainless steel.
- Maintain and change consumables like band saw blades and plasma filters.
- Read and interpret production drawings and prints of moderate complexity.
- Use hand and power tools, including grinders, hammers, plate rolls, punch presses, and wrenches.
- Layout and execute work according to instructions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience with similar machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced knowledge of procedures for using a band saw, plasma pipe cutter, iron worker, etc. (Carbon Steel & Stainless steel).
- Proficient in using power hand tools and certified forklift experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.
- Ability to lift to 20lbs unassisted and 50-100lbs with assistance.
