NDT Inspector

Job Description:



Staffmark is hiring a NDT Inspector for our client in Blytheville, AR. Join a diverse and inclusive team that values teamwork, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. We’re looking for individuals passionate about quality assurance and safety in the workplace.

Compensation:

  • Level 1 NDT: $21.71 – $32.57 per hour
  • Level 2 NDT: $24.98 – $37.46 per hour
  • Rotating 12-hr Shifts


As a NDT Inspector, you will be responsible for following health, safety, and environmental policies, and reporting any potential risks. You will ensure that products meet quality standards and promptly report any deviations. Efficiency is key as you complete tasks while adhering to productivity and cost standards. Accurate record-keeping is essential for product traceability, and any discrepancies should be reported. You will properly use company assets, report malfunctions, and participate in ongoing training to propose process improvements. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is a priority, as is understanding how your activities impact the global process. You will ensure that inspection instruments are functioning properly and within their expiration dates, set up magnetism, verify magnetic fields, and check fluid concentration. Additionally, you will perform UV/white light verification, identify and mark rejected parts, and create quality reports for pipes, noting any defects. You will also be responsible for repairing and reinspecting pipes as needed, and updating tracking systems to record results.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related role, preferably in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing).
  • Familiarity with inspection instruments and quality control processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and product quality.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to report and document findings clearly.
  • Willingness to participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and flexible hours as required.
