Job Description:
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a talent for keeping machinery running smoothly? Join Staffmark as a Maintenance Technician and play a key role in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing our material handling and support equipment. Your expertise will ensure our operations run efficiently and help deliver top-quality products to our customers.
Shift Available: 1st shift
Responsibilities:
- Keep motors, drives, belting, RF scan guns, and label machines in optimal condition. Diagnose and resolve issues with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components.
- Install and maintain conveyors, stretch wrap machines, sorters, motors, drives, and belts.
- Obtain certifications for scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts to ensure safe operation of equipment.
- Adhere to escalation plans and working instructions to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) and help improve 5S standards.
- Work with engineers and team members, sharing knowledge to foster a collaborative environment.
- Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years as an industrial maintenance mechanic/technician.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and math. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley) is a plus.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and basic computer skills are preferred.
