Job Description:
Local Class A LTL Truck Driver
Staffmark Drivers wants to put YOU in the driver’s seat with a GREAT job! We are currently looking for a Local LTL Truck Driver to start immediately! If you are an experienced CDL A Truck Driver with Doubles and Hazmat endorsements, apply today! We work hard to get you trucking right away!!
- Monday through Friday
- Start time: typically 830am
- Overtime paid
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Class A Driver will be responsible for delivering freight to various delivery spots-LTL
- Operate 10-speed manual transmission combination tractor & trailer in safe & efficient manner .
- Utilize manual pallet jack
- Doubles/hazmat endorsed-must know how to hook/break pups
- Ability to interact with dispatch and customers daily and take direction in a professional manner.
- Strong knowledge of all DOT Regulations, including Hours of Service and electronic logs.
Work experience and skills
- 2 years or more of previous Class A LTL driving experience within the past 36 months.
- 23 years of age or older
- Valid Medical Certification and CDL A
- Doubles & Hazmat endorsement
- No Automatic restriction on CDL
- Do not exceed any combination of 2 moving violations and/or accidents in the previous 36 months!
- No record of DUI or Reckless Driving within the past 5 years
