Salary: $40,000 – $50,000

Shift: 1st Shift

As a Junior Buyer, you’ll manage vendor relations, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely product delivery. You’ll also oversee picking and packing Will Call orders for Indianapolis Motorsport customers while maintaining inventory levels and driving KPIs like Customer Satisfaction (NPS) and On-Time Delivery (OTD).

Responsibilities:

• Place and manage purchase/work orders to maintain inventory levels
• Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely shipments
• Expedite orders and meet OTD metrics
• Resolve inter-company purchase order discrepancies
• Pick, pack, and manage Will Call orders and stock transfers
• Maintain supplier portals, pricing analysis, and databases
• Record sales transactions and provide timely quotes
• Uphold positive inter-company relationships and maintain ERP data
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong negotiation skills and supplier management
• Proficient in order management and ERP software
• Detail-oriented, able to multitask efficiently
• Results-driven with a commercial focus
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Track record of achieving commercial targets
• Comfortable with lean management tools
