Pay: $47 – $52 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Robotic & GPS Equipment: Total Station, Precision Range Data Collector, Topcon GPS.
- Strong verbal communication and computer skills.
- Ability to perform record searches online, at recorder’s offices, and through government entities.
- Professional Land Survey (PLS) License in state of Illinois
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QC/QA standards, including training programs.
- Market surveying services to expand the company’s business.
- Contribute to the company’s growth by exploring new areas of surveying services.
- Perform ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Residential Surveys, Topographical Surveys, and Construction Staking.
- Utilize Robotic & GPS Equipment: Total Station, Precision Range Data Collector, Topcon GPS.
- Conduct record searches online, at recorder’s offices, and through government entities.
- Prepare and review legal descriptions and boundary calculations.
- Sign and seal survey plans.
- Work toward advancement to Surveying Department Manager.
- Recruit, hire, and manage surveying staff.
- Schedule projects and coordinate staffing.
