Staffmark has an opening for a Production Operator in Piney Flats, TN that will have the opportunity to work for a client who specializes in manufacturing packaging products for an array of end markets that range from food, pet food, beverage, lawn and garden, nutraceutical, and health care. We offer a variety of shifts so you can pick the schedule that fits you best. These range from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, Monday – Friday, with alternate days and weekends off.
Pay rate: $15 – $19/hr.

Responsibilities: 

• This role involves operating a multi-unit web-fed rotary press to print bags, following procedures to meet customer expectations safely.
• Key responsibilities include monitoring material quality, performing machine adjustments, and completing production reports accurately.
• The position requires setting up equipment like laminators and anti-skid machines, replacing cutting blades, and maintaining equipment cleanliness.
• The role also involves supporting SQF certification, ensuring a safe work environment, and demonstrating a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor, while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications: Machine experience is a plus. Must have a resume with job descriptions with at least the last 3 or 4 jobs with job descriptions for HR to review.
