Job Description:
Staffmark is hiring a Payroll / HR Administrator in Vista, CA who is ready to join a positive, passionate, and collaborative team. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
Pay: $24 – $26/hr. (Depending on experience)
Essential functions:
- Administer weekly payroll, prepare reports, handle wage garnishments, and distribute paychecks.
- Assist with recruiting non-exempt personnel and temporary employees, including writing and placing job ads.
- Administer safety, health, welfare plans, and retirement plans; conduct new hire orientations.
- Reconcile monthly insurance billings, resolve discrepancies, and process benefit election changes in the HRIS system.
- Coordinate and organize training sessions; assist with final paperwork for terminations.
- Serve as lead on the safety committee and coordinate meetings to address safety concerns.
- Support VP of HR with various projects and collaborate with HR Supervisor to manage personnel requisitions.
Qualified candidates will have 2-4 years of human resources and/or payroll experience.
