Salary | $55,000 – $58,000 (Monday – Friday)

Requirements | A bachelor’s degree in athletic training, must be board and CPR certified, possess a South Caroline Athletic Training State Licensure, and have 1+ years of athletic training experience in a school setting

Assistant Athletic Trainer Job Responsibilities

• Prevent, evaluate, manage, and rehabilitate injuries.
• Work independently alongside the head athletic trainer.
• Care for all athletes on an appointment basis during the school day.
• Care after school and on weekends will alternate between staff.
• Effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and families.
• Maintain student-athlete medical history and notes.
• Maintain a detailed inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Compile team rosters.
• Complete athletic eligibility checks for each season.
• Coordinate physical exams and screenings.
• Assist in hosting athletic events.
