Staffmark is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Extrusion Operator to join a leading manufacturer of plastic tubing in Pryor, OK. If you’re passionate about manufacturing and have experience in machine operation, this opportunity offers a chance to play a crucial role in producing high-quality polyethylene pipe.

With competitive pay rates ranging from $16 to $20 per hour, dependent on experience, and 2nd shifts available from Monday to Friday—4:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for key tasks such as coiling, taping, stacking, and packaging the polyethylene pipe. Your role will also include conducting essential quality checks and maintaining detailed records of production and any issues encountered. Working closely with the Shift Supervisor, you’ll ensure adherence to safety protocols and uphold impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization within the work area. Flexibility to assist with additional duties as needed by supervisors or leadership will be crucial in meeting the evolving needs of the manufacturing process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install precut gaskets onto vacuum & spray tanks as instructed.
• Set coiler arms to the proper inside diameter and ensure neat and tight pipe coiling.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area and return supplies after each shift.
• Communicate effectively with other operators regarding any issues.
• Complete safety, quality control, and operational training requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience.
• Must be hardworking with intense labor experience and a long work history.
• Reliable transportation.
• Mandatory safety gear including safety boots/shoes (Steel-toed or hard composite), safety glasses, and hearing protection.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
