Education Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• No more than 3 moving violations, at-fault accidents, or a combination of both within the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or other serious driving violations within the past 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

 Physical Capabilities

• Ability to safely enter and exit a commercial vehicle throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Must be able to work in varying weather and road conditions.
• No heavy lifting required.

• Operate a CDL-A dry van truck on local routes with daily home time.
• Transport electrical supplies safely and efficiently.
• Complete drop-and-hook deliveries while adhering to all company and DOT regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driving records.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a strong safety focus.

What You Will Do

As a Class A Driver you will safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight on local routes while complying with DOT regulations and company safety standards. You will inspect equipment before and after each trip, complete transportation documentation, communicate with dispatch and customers, secure freight when required, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to safe driving practices.
