Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

• Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience in an industrial or production environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

• Set up and operate automated grinding equipment to produce quality parts
• Measure raw materials and perform in-process quality audits
• Monitor grind line operations to ensure proper performance
• Troubleshoot centerless grinders, robotic cells, and related equipment
• Read blueprints and verify products meet specifications
• Identify and report nonconforming materials and document production data
• Perform routine machine maintenance and daily housekeeping

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Hone Grinding Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
