Requirements:
- At least one year of relevant warehouse or shipping experience
- Commercial shipping experience using FedEx, UPS, and LTL carriers preferred
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures
- Experience completing bills of lading, commercial invoices, and CMUSA forms
- Understanding of prepaid, collect, and third-party billing terms
- Sit-down and stand-up forklift experience required
- Experience using MRP and ERP systems
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to read work orders, safety procedures, and shipping documents
- Strong math, documentation, and inventory-control skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; heavier items require assistance
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Ability to pass required equipment certification
Job Duties:
- Process domestic and international shipments
- Prepare shipping documents and carrier paperwork
- Pick, pack, label, consolidate, and stage orders
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise
- Verify products, quantities, and shipping methods
- Enter inventory and shipment information into the ERP system
- Report damaged products and inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with cycle counts
- Secure freight to prevent damage during transportation
- Cross-train in receiving, picking, and general warehouse functions
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures
