Job Duties:

• Replace, charge, and maintain forklift batteries
• Operate battery-changing and charging equipment
• Monitor battery performance and charging cycles
• Assign lift trucks and maintain equipment and key-control logs
• Track preventive maintenance schedules
• Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and projects
• Maintain battery and equipment inventory records
• Label, store, and handle batteries properly
• Keep the battery-charging area clean and organized
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid forklift certification
• Warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial experience
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair knowledge
• Basic computer, spreadsheet, and recordkeeping skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to wear all required PPE
