Now hiring for a Legal Assistant
Location: Greeneville, TN
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you an organized professional with strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people? We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy law office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, staff, and clients while gaining valuable experience in a professional office environment. Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Additional administrative or legal office training is a plus
Experience Requirements
  • Previous administrative, receptionist, or office experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Job Duties
  • Answer phones and greet clients professionally
  • Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars
  • Prepare, organize, and file legal documents
  • Manage client files and maintain accurate records
  • Respond to emails and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Scan, copy, and distribute documents
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information
  • Perform general office support and administrative duties
  • Assist attorneys and staff with special projects as assigned

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks.
  • Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and visitors.

What You Will Do

As a Legal Assistant you will provide administrative support by coordinating schedules, maintaining records, preparing documents, answering communications, organizing files, and assisting coworkers with daily operational needs. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

The Legal Assistant supports the flow of information, communication, and coordination within a professional office setting. This role requires strong organization, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to provide dependable support across a variety of administrative needs.

Successful Legal Assistant candidates are comfortable preparing documents, maintaining files, scheduling activities, answering questions, and helping teams stay aligned. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adjust as priorities change throughout the day.

As a key support position, the Legal Assistant helps create a workplace where people have the information, resources, and assistance they need to perform well.
