Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipping activities using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support daily production and fulfillment requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and update daily dock schedules to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Communicate with carriers to schedule appointments, track shipments, and provide load status updates.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and contractors regarding shipment timelines, product availability, and transportation concerns.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents, reports, and operational records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process small parcel shipments and related transactions within the WMS.
  • Support inventory, warehouse, and transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel, leadership, and external partners to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations while supporting additional logistics and administrative functions as needed.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and basic data entry functions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, supply chain, or customer service preferred.
  • Experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, dock scheduling, and carrier communications.
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation, inventory management, and transportation processes.
  • Ability to make timely, customer-focused decisions in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, walking, and using computers for extended periods.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to operational issues.
  • Flexibility to provide after-hours support, including nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
