Congratulations on being selected to work at Diversey!

Staffmark and Diversey have a strategic relationship, known as an Onsite Program. This relationship provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and Diversey.

It is important to remember that all personnel issues, questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Onsite Manager. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.

How to Check-In

On your first day you should check in at the front desk, and we will meet you there to complete your check-in.

Orientation Information

Safety Orientation occurs on a your first day and lasts anywhere from 4–8 hours.

1st Shift: 6:45am to 3:15pm (Mon-Fri)
2nd Shift: 2:45pm to 11:15pm (Mon-Fri)
3rd Shift: 10:45pm to 7:15am (Sun-Thurs)
*All shifts must be flexible to work overtime

Employee Policies

Time Clock + Pay

Time Clock Procedures

Your pay will be monitored by an automatic timekeeping system.

  • Clock in and out using the last 4 of your SS# 
  • Employees may clock in 15 minutes prior to their shift, but not earlier than that.
  • Missed punches can cause mistakes on your pay checks and we cannot ensure your paycheck accuracy.
  • If you have any problems with the time clock, please see your Staffmark On-Site Manager.
Pay Rates

Pay starts at $18 per hour. Pay rate increases based on shift and job title. 

Pay Schedule
  • Paydays are every Friday.
  • Pay period is from Monday to Sunday and is paid the following Friday.
  • The 2 BEST ways to receive your pay check:
    • Direct Deposit
    • Skylight pay Card

Long Term Benefits

Pay Raises
  • 90 Days
    • $0.50 pay increase
  • 180 Days (Six Months):
    • 2nd Pay increase, PTO, and Holiday Pay.
    • Pay Increases:
      • General Labor: $0.25 pay increase.
      • Skilled Level: $0.50 pay increase.
  • One Year of Service:
    • Skilled Level: Additional $0.50 pay increase.
Holiday Pay

Talent that have been on a match with Diversey/Solenis for 6 months will qualify for Holiday Pay and PTO.

PAid TIme Off

PTO Acural:

  • 8 hours per month

Notice Requirements:

  • Talent must give 24 hours’ notice before taking PTO.
  • Failure to provide notice will result in being pointed for no notice.

Approval Process:

  • PTO requests must be signed and approved by the Supervisor.

Usage Rules:

  • PTO must be taken in whole days.
  • PTO must be used by the end of the year (“use it or lose it” policy).

Attendance & Shifts

Because attendance is so important to meeting productivity, your attendance will be tracked and monitored daily. Staffmark will comply with all State and Federallaws regarding family and medical leaves of absence. Disciplinary action will be taken for excessive absenteeism, tardiness, and timeclock violations (missedpunches).

Tardiness not only interferes with your performance, but also inconveniences and delays the work of others. You are expected to work the duration of your shift. Ifyou need to leave early, you will need to obtain prior approval from your Supervisor and your Staffmark On-Site Manager.

An occurrence is an unauthorized absence, tardy or missed timeclock in/out. After 3 consecutive days of NO CALL- NO SHOW, Diversey will treat unauthorizedabsence as Job Abandonment, and you will be terminated from the assignment.

Call Off Procedure – If you need to miss time from work, you will need to provide at least a 1 hour notice from the start of your shift. When notifying of an absence provide the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Dept & Supv.
  • Reason for Absence or tardy
REquesting time off / Incase you are late or absent

Please follow the steps below to submit your request correctly:

  1.  Before submitting a time off request, confirm with your supervisor that the dates you want to request are approved for coverage.
  2. Submit Your Request Electronically- Confirmation -MUST BE SUBMITTED AT LEAST 24 HOURS AHEAD OF YOUR REQUEST DAY OFF
  3. Approval Process
    • After Onsite Manager receives your form, they will contact your Supervisor for final approval.
    • Once final approval is received, you will receive an email/text notification confirming your approved day off.

 

PTO (Paid Time Off) Requests
If you are requesting PTO, you must check with onsite Manager first to verify that you have PTO hours available before submitting the form.

If you submit a request for PTO without confirming available hours, PTO will not be paid out.

Lunch / Other Policies

Lunch / BREAKS

Employees get (2) 15 min paid breaks and (1) 30-minute unpaid breaks/meal period.

Break room has a market place available, refrigerators, and microwaves.

Eating on the production floor is prohibited. Going to your vehicle once you have arrived and clocked in is prohibited.

Dress Code

To ensure a safe and productive work environment, a dress code is strictly enforced for all employees.

  • Steeled toe boots are required. No Mesh.
  • T-shirts may be worn but must be free of profane or vulgar language and pictures.
  • No hoodies, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, sleeveless, midriffs
  • No saggy or low-cut pants, leggings, sweatpants, joggers, holes, tears or exposed midriffs or undergarments are unacceptable.
  • No contacts are permitted.
  • No jewelry is permitted.
  • Shoulder length hair must be pulled back.
