How to Check-In

Enter through the main door and check in with Staffmark.

Orientation Information

New employee orientation is held as needed at the site. Powered Industrial Truck Operators will have a skills assessment conducted in addition to standard orientation information shared with all Material Handlers.

Shifts | Workhours | Workdays

Shift days and times vary depending on site, department and position. Staffmark employees will be provided specific information about their position, shift and workdays when an offer is extended.

Employee Policies

Time Clock + Pay

Time Clock Procedures

It is your responsibility to manage your time clock punches. You are required to have punch information logged for the start of your shift, your meal period (in and out) and the end of your day.

If you have any challenges with the timeclock please see your Staffmark representative.

Pay Rates

Contact your Staffmark Representative to get information on pay rates.

Pay Schedule
  • Paydays are every Friday.
  • Pay period is from Monday to Sunday and is paid the following Friday.
  • The 2 BEST ways to receive your pay check:
    • Direct Deposit
    • Skylight Pay Card

Attendance & Shifts

REquesting time off / Incase you are late or absent

If you need to be absent from work or be late for your shift, this is the procedure that every Staffmark associate must follow:

Call the IHerb attendance line 24 hours a day at (866) 243-0337. Be prepared to give the following:

  •  Full name
  • Current Department
  • Current managers name
  • Date of unscheduled absences or late
  • Reason of unscheduled absences or late
  • Tell the operator that you are a Staffmark employee

 

A Staffmark representative will then notify your supervisor immediately of your circumstances. You will be expected to return to work the next workday unless you are informed otherwise.

If you need to leave for a family emergency or any other reason, please inform your supervisor. DO NOT WALK OFF THE JOB OR LEAVE YOUR SHIFT WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION TO A SUPERVISOR.

Lunch / Other Policies

Lunch / BREAKS

Lunch: Employees receive a 30-minute lunch.

Breaks: Two 15-minute breaks per shift.

Facilities available include refrigerators, water, microwave ovens, free daily fresh fruit, vending machines.

Please make sure you return from lunch on time

Dress Code

  • Crew neck t-shirts are recommended
  • No tank tops
  • No plunging necklines
  •  No baggy clothing is permitted
  • Long hair must be tied up above shoulders
  • Close Toe Shoes are required
  • No jackets/sweatshirts with hoods
  • No sleeveless shirts
